Painting with Water Guns
Water guns are a fun activity in themselves, but add paint and you’ve got one heck of a fun activity!
Our 2.5 year old daughter, Emmy, loves to paint. So being able to create a new piece of art in a fun way was a blast for her.
We purchased a 2 pack of water guns from Target for $3. Looking back, it would have been better to have more on hand in order to add more colors without having to rinse out the guns and reload with more paint.
For the paint, we used our trusty Crayola washable colors. My first instinct was that the paint REALLY needed to be watered down to make it through the gun, but this was not true. You can see below how the watered down colors looked at first.
When I went to reload the guns I added just a small amount of water and it made the color much more vibrant! The finished product was beautiful!
