Can you tell we are fans of making snack time into an activity? Yesterday, we shared how we used colorful cereal to help with color matching and today, we are back to using cereal for a fun counting activity!
The main purpose of this activity is to help our little ones with number recognition. We started with adding Cheerios in order starting with one. We then emptied everything out and played “where is number 8…4…7?” and so on.
I try to remind parents with every little project, save your efforts! Once you’ve completed this activity, store your numbered liners somewhere safe and pull out this activity again in a week or so.
