In all my days as a blogger, I have made alot of printables. But let me tell y’all, this one took the cake with my toddler.
This printable comes with three pages. The first one, I walked through with her. I explained that we were looking for the picture that rhymed with the first picture in the row. After she got the hand of it, I let her take on page two and three by herself.
I loved sitting back and watching her work. You could tell it was a challenge, but with time, she was able to work through it. Sometimes as a parent, it is SO hard to sit back silently, but I’m telling you…give your little one time to work through this and they may surprise you!
What I loved even more than the pride she felt from completing it, was the new game it put into motion for us… everything became the rhyme game! It became our new favorite way to pass the time during car rides. We also loved listening to “Down by the Bay” for all the silly rhymes they have in the song!
