Summer Schedule for Toddlers
This June, we officially kick off yet another summer! As always, we are gearing up for a ton of fun activities, both indoors and outdoors.
This summer, we have opted to create a fun summer schedule for both of our toddlers in order to add some structure and help mama come up with a better idea of what to plan each week for the girls.
Art Makers Monday
This is when we bust out our art bin! It’s filled with construction paper, glue, water color paint, brushes, dot markers and so much more! I let Emmy pick her “craft” for the day but always have an idea in my back pocket in case she needs some inspiration. We also like to paint pictures for family members and mail them to them!
Story Time Tuesday
On Tuesdays, we spend alot of time reading! Our local library has toddler time on Tuesdays, so we always aim to make it to that. Emmy loves to be able to pick out books and take them home as well!
If we are not able to make it to the library, we simply put on our own story time as home!
Water Play Wednesday
Whether swimming, running through sprinklers or playing with a water table… Wednesday it all about fun in the water!
Learning Thursday
On Thursdays, we focus on activities with an education aspect (although leaning is definitely happening in other ways on every other day of the week as well!) If you have followed this blog, you know I am a huge fan of printables and I try to have 1-2 ready for Thursdays. You can check out all of our printable activities here!
Foodie Friday
This is when we bust out our trusty food cutters! It’s a day of fun shaped food and family cooking. On these days, I allow the girls to use their kitchen stand to get cookin’ with mama!
Sensory Saturday
Our girls love sensory play! They know as soon as they see the top of our FLISAT table come off, that there is a fun activity on the way! If you have not checked out our favorite sensory activities, you can do so here!
Family Funday Sunday
A day of fun for the whole fam! Some days we plan fun outings, other days we grill burgers and play in the pool all day. The only thing that we aim for is to spend the day as a family!
