Our Alphabet Hunt Printable is a great way to help your toddler with letter recognition.
According to Scholastic.com, letter recognition begins “between ages 3 and 4. Typically, children will recognize the letters in their name first. By age 5, most kindergarteners begin to make sound-letter associations, such as knowing that “book” starts with the letter B” (source).
To complete this activity, we used dot markers (you can grab a set here), however you could opt for stickers or even pom-poms as your letter markers.
