Painting with Bubbles
As a mom to two toddlers, alot of artwork gets made in our home. Like, ALOT. I could easily have 6 more refrigerators in my house and they would all be filled with the proud works of Emmy and Nora. But let me tell y’all, this is one of the prettiest projects they have done to date!
I was inspired for this project by LivingWellMom (follow her on Pinterest here!). Erika’s kiddos also created some beautiful works of art with bubbles and I couldn’t wait to try it with my littles.
While Erika has a great recipe to make your own bubbles, we opted to use store bought. I then mixed in neon wood coloring and allowed the girls to use standard bubble sticks that come with the bottle. I used a dollar store cupcake pan to mix and store our colors.
Obviously, this project gets a little messy. I was very thankful we did it outdoors. Keep in mind that not all bubbles may pop on the paper meaning any rouge bubbles with color could land elsewhere. Outside if definitely best!
