Thanksgiving is a wonderful time for some themed activities for your toddlers. As with many activities, these Thanksgiving activities for toddlers are a great way to help your child develop their skills while also having fun. Most of these can be completed with craft supplies you likely already have at home. However, many do call for some festive colored feathers, which you can find here on Amazon!
Fall Play Dough kits have become the number one activity for our household this year. Time and time again, they keep my kids entertained for HOURS. Just today, we took a kit along with us to dance class and Nora played so contently for the entire 45 minutes while Emmy was in class! I make all the play dough myself (it seriously costs less than $2 to make a HUGE amount, lasts forever and doesn’t smell like the store bought brand!) You can get all the recipe details in this post.
This activity from My Life of Travels and Adventureswould look so cute on the fridge for the month of November! Of course, someone would have to help with the footprint, but from there, let your toddler add the wings (you could even use real feathers!), eyes and feet!
We can’t make it through a holiday season without a themed sensory bin! This Fall Sensory Bin was one of my favorites of the year (second to Halloween, that one was unbeatable!) You can read all the details on what is in our sensory bin in this post.
