Sharing is caring!

Halloween Season if officially here! We’ve picked our pumpkins, ordered Halloween costumes, and now we are ready for some fun crafts and activities to go along with this spooky season!

We’ve rounded up some of the cutest crafts and activities on the internet into this blog post. If you want any more information on any of these, just click the link above the image!

Enjoy!

Black Bean Sensory Bin

We created these sensory bins last year and could not wait to make them again in 2020! You can get all the details here.

Homemade Halloween Play Dough Kits

Notice that many of the little halloween knick knacks seen below are also in our black bean sensory kit? We save EVERYTHING purchased to make these crafts and re-use them dozens of ways each season then we store them away for the next year! You can get more details on how we make our play dough here.

Pumpkin Painting

Such a simple activity that can be done and done again. Our favorite pumpkin painting hack is to use washable paint… that way a few days after your kiddos paint, you can simply wash the pumpkin and paint again!

Pumpkin Ring Toss

A great activity that doubles as a craft activity too. We started by having our girls color and decorate the “rings” made out of paper plates.

Pumpkin Bowling

A simple to set up activity that provides hours of fun! You can get a behind the scenes look at this activity in action over on our Instagram page!

Sticker Name

This activity can be completed with just about every holiday and it is always a hit! It’s a great fine motor activity and keeps kiddos entertained for a long time. If you don’t have any longer paper on hand, you can grab a 2 pack here for super cheap.

Pumpkin Boats

A great way to incorporate water activities into the cooler months! We ended up having to move this activity from a sensory bin to the bath tub because it was getting a little messy but it was totally worth it! The girls really enjoyed this one!

Fizzy Pumpkins

This is a great science experiment  for Halloween! I added one scoop of baking soda to the pumpkins (those are the same pumpkins from our boats shows above!) then I mixed a drop of orange food coloring with vinegar to make the “magic potion”. You can see a live video of this activity in action on our instagram page here.

Growing a Jeweled Rose did a similar science experiment, just with FULL SIZE pumpkins. How cool it that?! She also has a great activity involving art made out of colored pumpkin seeds- check it out here!
